(1) Favorite prayer at the dinner table
At the Thanksgiving dinner table, our friends suggested to tell our favorite dinner table’s prayers. As usual, my beloved wife asked me to be the first one to tell.
I said, “ I hope the prayer to be very short, since the food is yum-yum, and we are all quite hungry.”
Everyone agreed, and all laughed. So I was asked to tell the second one.
I said, “I wish all the good food we eat are good (to our health)”.
“That’s a great one!” (or the like) were the responses.
I was so high, and said, “Then, I could eat lobsters, Peking Duck, etc. as much as I like ….”
Bang! Bang! I was out the bed. And, my beloved wife was screaming, “You want to eat What?! You know I never prepare such foods. You don’t like what I cook?!”
